Greek Independence Day (Celebration of the Greek Revolution)

The celebration of the Greek Revolution celebrates, as the name implies, the revolution fought by the Greeks against the Ottomans. It ultimately resulted in the independence of Greece after 9 long years of war.
Greece holds a military parade every 25th of March in Athens. Students also march in traditional Greek costumes.
